Hidden Inlet Lodge

A REMOTE DESTINATION

Located in Gwent Cove at the southern tip of Alaska on the edge of Misty Fjords National Monument, Hidden Inlet is 80 miles from the nearest US human habitation. Built as a salmon cannery in 1911 and operated by A&P until the late 1950s, today Hidden Inlet Lodge is one of Alaska’s most extraordinary, remote wilderness lodges. Fish in waters so far from civilization that commercial sport fishing is unknown. Shrimp and crab in the untouched, 300-foot deep waters inside the Inlet for the best shrimp and crab you will ever eat. Or hike an hour into Misty Fjords and fish in mountain lakes where the trout have never seen a hook, then return to sleep comfortably in one of Hidden Inlet’s rebuilt cannery cabins. As the tide ebbs and flows in the bay, toast the sunset at the end of each amazing day from the deck of the Lodge Pub, built on piling over the bay.
